E3 Expo came and went. Rumours of a PS3 Slim console announcement were clearly off the mark but that probably had a lot to do with the leaked PSP Go news.
Since June, we haven’t heard much about the PS3 slim, but that doesn’t mean that there hasn’t been anything happening behind the scenes. Our friends over at Engadget recently reported that Sony are rumoured to have signed manufacturing agreements with both Foxconn and Pegatron to build the new slim console.
They also report on another rumour, but to be fair, they discredit it quite quickly. There is a suggestion that the PS3 Slim will be the last PS3 model and that there is a next generation model being launched in 2010 which is based on the Sony motion controller. Is this the much speculated PS4 or something completely different?
